Nice article

You can make your class a Singleton class that is thread and reflection proof. It is still not the perfect singleton class. But for most of the applications, the above implementation of Singleton will work perfectly.

There are no perfect singleton classes since singleton is an anti-pattern and should not be used since it generates heavy coupling
